The slide is used for test purposes, must meet various requirements and is manufactured in series.
Requirements:
- Non-magnetic series, titanium shafts and ceramic balls, brass hardware
- No anodize on base, carriage and endcaps
- Vent holes added to DA-2 carriage, no blind holes on DA-1 base
- 2x 5mm thru holes added to the DA-2 carriage
- Use brass retainers instead of delrin – temperature resistance above 100°C
- With 6 preload screws for optimum adjustment
